FIPA pressure regulators and pressure reducers are preferred for applications in which the ejectors act as vacuum generator. The optimal feed pressure is set manually using a knurled screw.
In applications with grippers, the feed pressure adjusts the retention force of the grippers to the workpieces being handled.
The overpressure protection integrated into FIPA pressure regulators prevents system damage if the feed pressure increases too much during idling or when compressed air consumers fail.
