UMS pallet circulation system.

In the area of pallet conveyor technology, our UMS series offers a double-track roller chain conveyor that returns the empty pallets below the conveyor level: at the end of the conveyor line, the unloaded pallets are deflected vertically by a form-fitting gripper and transported backwards.

The damming of the pallets is possible not only on the conveyor plane, but also during the return transport of the unloaded workpiece carrier. The system can even be used as a monorail, with pallet return on top.

A characteristic feature of the UMS series is the constantly circulating chain, which simultaneously serves as a carrier and for driving the system. The control effort is limited to a minimum, since no time-consuming programming for redirections or infeed and Ausschleusungen is necessary.

The UMS system is suitable for workpiece carriers from 400 to 600 millimeters wide and 100 to 300 millimeters long. The total length of a system is 20 meters with a load per pallet of a maximum of 100 kilograms. The permissible maximum load of the entire system at a conveying speed of six meters per minute is 1,200 kilograms, at a conveying speed of twelve meters per minute it is 800 kilograms.
