Likewise this guarantees continuity and thus operational safety. We carry out the necessary Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). STÖGER also offers commissioning of the system on site and training of the operating staff.

Individual assembly cells for optimised production processes
In the semi-automated assembly process the parts to be connected are placed into the work piece carrier by the operator. The automatic screwdriver starts the fastening process only after the safety device of the assembly cell has been closed (eg. roller shutter, light curtain or safety drawer), which eliminates the risk of injury for the operator during the assembly process. After the assembly process the door will be opened again so that the work piece can be removed and the next piece positioned. The work top can be designed as a turntable which can be manually or automatically rotated, or as a drawer. Many other operational steps can be planned and integrated on the customer’s request, such as lubricating, adhesive bonding or machining the work piece, scanning of bar codes or printing of labels, etc.

In the fully automated assembly process the individual work pieces will be transported automatically to the machine; the assembly process will be carried out fully automatically. Assembly cells for fully automated assembly are used in automated production lines.
