NC 320T rotary indexing table

The NC combines robustness and durability with the advantages of a freely programmable rotary table offering a high level of torque. The NC differs from the TC range through its use of a brushless AC servo motor drive. In addition, the drive curve has a constant rise. The NC-T is capable of positioning large loads dynamically and precisely at freely selectable angles.

Custom machines for the assembly of sealing rings for fuel pumps
High precision and many work steps in even the smallest of spaces thanks to five perfectly matched rotary indexing tables.

Challenge
The custom machine builder Grün & Köder GmbH had very specific requirements for its new assembly system for fitting sealing rings on diesel injection pumps: two material flows, 27 processing stations and 76 workpiece holders had to be accommodated in a small space – along with a number of testing and measurement steps.

Solution
Space-saving compact design: the five WEISS rotary indexing tables used in the assembly system require a footprint of as little as 5m². The combination of fixed-cycle TCs and user-programmable NC tables is perfectly matched to the requirements for the assembly of sealing rings. The sealing ring blanks are processed, tested, rejected and fitted at a total number of 27 stations. The fifth rotary indexing table serves as a magazine.
